Development Update #4
Labyrinth Sprint (Demo) » Devlog
The next patch to the game is now live. Since the last update I have been concentrating on re-factoring the level generation code to improve performance and to allow adding a looping musical score at a later date. These changes have also allowed me to add a countdown timer to the start of each level, ensuring players get a moment to take stock before the level starts.
The complete changelog is below:
New Features:
- Added a countdown timer to the start of each level, so it begins paused for a few seconds before the action starts.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where a fight cloud would be spawned at the players last death location when starting a new game straight after losing a previous game.
Other:
- Re-factor of the level generation code to improve performance and add a level start event to hook in adding music later.
